For Diana Smerina and Anthony Basile’s reception, commissioning The Absolute Best Thing for 6/6/2026 at Wolffer Estate Vineyard starts at $13,000.

Portrait photography by The Absolute Best Thing will be done by creative director Tuan Bui, supported by one non-shooting assistant. This rate includes up to two hours of operation, with additional hours billed at $1,800 per hour.

All rental, transport and accommodation costs will be borne by The Absolute Best Thing.

This rate reflects a standard 18’ x 18’ portrait studio site - The Absolute Best Thing will create a custom design that fits in that space, and harmoniously blends floral, furniture, props and decor with the overall event design, in consultation and collaboration with The Party New York.

  • Option 1: The Absolute Best Thing | $13,000

Photos will be taken on a digital camera, and guests will have access to a secure passworded online gallery where they may download their photos one week after the event.

  • Option 2: The Absolute Best Thing with same-night printing | $18,000

Photos will be taken on a digital camera, and edited and printed onsite on 8x10 photo paper for guests to take home. This process takes a few minutes per photo.

In addition, guests will have access to a secure passworded online gallery where they may download their photos after the event.
